Awning too small

We have recently changed vans but have kept our same awning. However although both vans are four berth, the awning is now a size or two too small for our current van. Is there any magic way of adapting the awning to fit - implants/extenders/patchwork etc? Or will I just have to fork out more money on a new one? Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Ta, emmy.

Emmy you dont say where you are located in the country? In Pontefract, West Yorshire there is Trio-Pair who did our awning, look in the Mag for detials. VERY satisfied with the result, Bazz.

if the van is not too new or under warranty you can have a shorter rail put on the van at a cost much lower than altering the awning

or cut the btm off just leaving the roof and turn it into a sun conopy for the other side of the van and buy a bigger one
