Awning Underlay

Have just bought a Kampo BREATHABLE awning underlay to protect our Softext ground sheet.This it did but destroyed the grass after just six days.

Has anyone got this type of underlay and how do they find theirs.It did the job of keeping the Softex clean but I had to apologise to the site owner re the grass.

Have just returned from a 10 day rally, we never use an underlay and our grass was fine underneather, our neighbours do use the underlay and their pitches were a mess. I just pressure wash the awning carpet when necessary
