Awning Window gone cludy....

Hi,

We've just come back from a wet weekend in North Wales !

When we packed up the awning was wet so I followed instructions and loosly folded the awning, by the time we got home and unpacked I went to hang the awning up in the garage (about 6-7 hours later) and the windows have gone all cloudy.... I've left it hanging to dry for a day and still no change

This is a New Isabella Awning, only the second time it's been used, has anyone any tips for cleaning them and getting them back like new ?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Had the same problem last year when I came back from a trip with a wet awning. Advice on here was that the next time you put it up in the sunshine the windows will clear - and they did 🙂

Dont try anything on it till you talk to Isabella at Thame; I have found them to be very helpfull.
My first thoughts are that it will in time clear as it really dries out, the older material does but I know it has in recent times changed from that used in my 2002 Isabella.[That "blushes" white if folded damp but clears when dried out]

I agree with the other replies,we had the problem recently, and after 4 hours in our conservatory on a sunny day the windows cleared and have stayed clear,I think it is the heat as well as the light that does it.

Thanks for all the replies ... that was my reaction at first (although just guessing!)

Funily enough we have had them hung up indoors for teh last 3 hours and they've started clearing, so will keep my fingers crossed and if no joy will get in touch with Isabella
