Hi, we have just bought a porch awning, we went and fitted it to our van yesterday and could not get it to seal against the side of the van. The awning is a towsure panama 390xl. Has anybody had this problem as the instructions are unclear at best.
 
That's a similar style to ours with a padded bit that pushes against the caravan side
I've never managed to get it completely airtight.
I don't think it's designed to seal completely
