Has anyone else purchased a Bailey Senator series 6?
If you haven't, then we strongly recommend that you don't.
However, if you are unfortunate enough to have bought one (like ourselves) then has anyone else had any problems with it?
We purchased a brand new carolina last July (2009 model),
Since day one we have had problem after problem.
To name a few... the cushions are rubbish quality (foam all collapsed inside) dealer sent them back under warranty and they came back worse!!
There are ridges in the floor where the plyboards are butted together and a red circle has appeared in the lino (which Bailey said all bailey's will develop this red circle and loose fitted carpets are supplied to hide it!!!)
There are 2 inch holes (apparently wiring holes) under the bottom bunk.
There is also a 4 inch hole in the floor under the toilet
exposing the insulation in the floor (which surely could cause delamination).
The edging strip of the vanity unit started peeling away after just a few days.
The 'so-called' heated towel rail kept falling off.
One of the cassette blinds had been fitted wonky.
Window fixing screws visible (due to blind not fitted properly)
There was an inch gap above the fridge (showing electrical wires)
I could go on and on....but I won't.
On the plus side, the van looks great from outside
I'm thinking of buying a tent so I can sit outside in the rain and look at my 'lovely' Bailey caravan.
