The problem with late October deliveries is being able to use it on numerous occasions within the first 30 days to ensure that there are no snags etc. Then in the next 5 months using it over the winter period before the 6 month window from delivery date expires. The 5's demonstrators are to be delivered beginning of Sept and first orders released end of Sept, early October. We have been given a provisional mid-October delivery.
There is no problem with using a caravan in the winter months, I collected our new one in Feburary, used it for a week in the UK then went , across to France for a month. Lots of snow, you just need to have the mind set to get away. The problem with late October deliveries is being able to use it on numerous occasions within the first 30 days to ensure that there are no snags etc. Then in the next 5 months using it over the winter period before the 6 month window from delivery date expires.
That may be okay for you and me, but some do not use their caravan over the winter period and we did not last year for the first time in several or more years. There is no problem with using a caravan in the winter months, I collected our new one in Feburary, used it for a week in the UK then went , across to France for a month. From date of delivery you have 30 days in which you can reject the caravan for a full refund if there is something wrong with it and it is not up to standard. No argument.Whats this "six month window" you mention?
Using it per se wont be an issue. We store on the drive and can run all the systems as often as we like. Plus it will get used, its going to N. Yorks for three weeks.
I think the issue with most caravans, and realistically we expect niggles, is that normally a fault would be easy enough to put right the first time. The question is how many different niggles constitutes a rejection, or do they need to be given one chance to repair each and every one of them? Thats the thing in this life where warranties are concerned, there is always a BUT!!
In first 30 days probably anything to reject a caravan. After the 30 days it is one chance at a specific fault and if the same fault occurs again within the first 6 months then you can reject for a full refund.I think the issue with most caravans, and realistically we expect niggles, is that normally a fault would be easy enough to put right the first time.
