Whats been your best bargain when caravanning ??

We got a Reimo Rimini porch awning for £50 ......the only place ive found them is on the internet for 369 euros !

just got a new dorema portch (mega portch type) maxima type £360 deliverd in box they was naerly £600 at one time.

Bought a used Dorema porch awning for the doglets last year. £30, it was sold by an old couple but they only used it once, it's in pristine condition. Guilt got the better of me and I offered them a lot more on meeting them and seeing the porch awning but they wouldn't take a penny more.

I bought the practical caravan magazine,and a loaf of bread at the supermarket last week.I put a fiver in the automatic checkout and it gave me change for a tenner.Not a big saving,but a freebie nonetheless.

I remember when I was a young boy my mother would send me to the shop with a shilling to get a loaf of bread, pound of sausages, pint of milk, packet of biscuits, dog meat for the dog and I would still have change left. Nowadays there are too many CCTV cameras around.
