Anyone got any recommendations for sites near beaches in Norfolk, I can only seem to find static parks that wont take touring vans. Must be dog friendly and ideally adult only or at least quieter sites as I have to get some work done too whilst I am there! Thanks

I did a quick 'Norfolk' into ukcampsites.co.uk site search and got this:

'Sorry, too many records found!
Try narrowing your search criteria.'

Use the tool with towns you'll get somewhere I'm sure.

https://www.clippesbyhall.com/is a lovely site in the middle of the Broads, about 10-15 minutes drive from the beaches around Caister-on-Sea.

http://www.birchamwindmill.co.uk/is a small site near Sandringham, about 15-20 minutes drive to the lovely beaches at Brancaster etc. Again a really lovely site.

http://www.pinewoods.co.uk/is right on the beach front in Wells. I've never stayed overnight but have often used their cafe whilst having a day out at the beach - it seems nice, mixture of statics and touring.

I'm afraid all the sites that I can think of close around 6 November... If you can change your dates I'd suggest you try Long Beach Caravan Park: www.long-beach.co.uk. Or Kelling Heath Holiday Park, amongst the heathland on the North coast. I believe this one is open almost all year!

Hope you find somewhere.

Hi ya,

I can highly recommend Woodhill at Runton next to Cromer, stunning view's from the hill at sunset. Plenty full reviews on many sites to back up, oh and theirs a carboot next door Saturday mornings ;)

As you won’t be sunbathing the two main club sites at Sandringham are convenient for beach walks and have nice forest walks adjacent. We prefer C&CC as its layout is more informal.

Pinewoods caravan site at Wells has recently been relocated to the landward end of the static caravans/holiday homes area and now faces inland, towards Wells-next-the-Sea with the harbour entrance and sea wall to the side, so is a little further to get to the beach now. It's also very expensive I'm told!
