Bearsted CC Site

Hi all, Has anybody been to Bearsted CC Site in Kent since the CC have refurbished it. We are booked in after Christmas until New year. Whats the site and area like? Iv'e looked at the Leeds Castle web site and see thats open all year, but at £15 each to get in seems really expensive, Is it worth it? Thanks.

Leeds Castle I believe has a policy where your ticket allows for return visits for a year (excluding special events).There is lots to do in the area, get south/south east of Maidstone and you really are in the Garden of England. Several National Trust places, country villages used in the Darling Buds of May, loads of country pubs, in the summer the north Kent coast is under an hour away with golden sandy beaches (eg Broadstairs).
