The thought of Northern grub has made me think of Black pudding.
It’s a bit like the Marmite effect but a good well made Black pudding from close to the border is one of the best companion foods.
Great with some dry cured smoked bacon and sourdough bread.

Just watched it on catch up. Didn't fancy any of savoury ends. Better these things are kept traditional.
