Oh deary deary me!

The trolls are back amongst us.

Well done the Moddies for taking the trouble to identify those spurious postings made via a false email address.

And thanks for deleting a post using my id name that certainly was not me.

There are loads of us on this Forum who use it well, have disagreements, agree to disagree and move on. I feel all of us are "our own men/women" - in other words we are who we are and are proud of it.

Now I wonder what the "make up" is of a troll that has to take on somebody else's persona in order to take part?

Any suggestions?

Try to keep it clean!!

I guess a "Billy no mates" type who uses a mish mash of others ideas to try and force poorly thought out views, rules and regulations on others.

The sort of person who stands by what they say even if all others see they only follow and do not lead with ideas and original thought of their own.

It could be that we have some very senior government figure lurking here ;-0

Well having disagreed with both CliveV and cris I can say we are all grown up enough to accept that everyone has their own opinions. From the forums that I use it tends to be that the trolls are people who do not have the mental capacity to accept that we all have different opinions and so they decide to always have a very fixed opinion and usually fix it to be either deliberately opposite to every one else or deliberately confrontational so that whenever they post they get a huge reaction, this seems to make them feel important and gives them the attention they crave, if you ignore the trolls they quickly get bored and move to another forum. So my conclusion is that trolls are people with low intelle ct and serious self esteem problems, and now they are all going to be gunning for me I'm sure

Hi Guys

I agree with you both - Trolls do it for the attention no doubt about it - I have a mental picture of a weedy little guy in glasses who hides behind a keyboard.

What I have not seen before tho' (only on this forum due to its relative lack of sophisticated technology) is the childish desire of some to make up individuals so that their silly ideas can get "support".

They also try to impersonate others - which is truly bizarre because it is so easily spotted.

I just wonder if it is the relative lack of sophistication of this Forum that allows these saddos in?

In my view Lol was right to ask if one person who was beginning to get quite silly and abusive if he actually had a caravan?

Good Question in my view because I wonder if this Forum is being selected by nerds as one you can easily abuse.

Such saddo's would find this funny I presume.

I disagree wwith all these postings here, whoever these trolls are they are not actually forcing any opinions on any one, they are just taking the p**s and expecting a response, which many of you respond to. I read in the 4x4 tax debate a user said that Clivev was putting out the bait to catch someone, I think it is the other way round we have been baited.

Hello "Mr Anderson"

What a really silly chap you are - two posts in the last hour or so. One of which is calculated to get a response from the horse riders amongst us. But no post in the previous six months.

I suspect the real Mr Anderson is one of your teachers and you have just been let out for School Lunch. Are you running out of pseudonyms you poor thing?

Had another bite chaps!!!

I still agree with Mr Anderson. While people rise to his postings he will never leave. And it appears he is targeting the easy fish that always bite. 99% of the forum users can ignore him why cant you? :)

"Mr Anderson" is a Troll Clone - another name - same person.

If you want to agree with such people - you carry on!

Yes I realised that from reading the 'horse' input on the 4 x 4 debate. But that does not alter the fact that, in my opinion, there is an element of truth in what he says. I have been away from the forum for a while and now I returned it is the same old story of lots of useful subjects and input from the majority but still this personal vendetta being fought at the expense of genuine forum users.

Its just my view, perhaps I'm on my own on this one

If I were doing what you accuse me off then the modies would have banned me by now!

Personal vendetta - what nonsense - Having an opinion and verbalising it well may rock the boat a little sometimes but the only person who is carrying out a vendetta on personal terms is supposedly banned from this forum for being rude, abusive and multiple postings.

As I say - by agreeing with one of these idiots you "feed" them just as much as I do when I challenge their stupidity.

Dear Mr Clivev, I am not a troll, I am a human being. I have my own opinions and I think it is stupid of people to ride horses on the public highway as they are beasts with their own minds and are prone to being easily scared and cause accidents.

I agree with Martyn ( I suppose he is a troll?) the bait has been cast and those with forthright views cannot help themselves but reply, a big mistake in opinion.

THEN WHY ARE YOU USING A FALSE EMAIL ADDRESS? MOD

I suppose the fact that as horses were on the roads first, therefore have an absolute right to be there and cars must by law give way to them does not apply in the world you inhabit.
