We currently have a two berth caravan and tow it with a Suzuki Vitara. We want to trade both in to buy a caravan with a fixed bed and match it with an estate car. We are considering a Volvo V70 with a Bailey Louisiana. Is this a suitable match and what other matches are recommended?

I personally couldn't recommend this combination. I believe in keeping close to the 85% weight ratio, despite 35 years of towing. My figures show that your proposed combination is 96%. Many people will, I have no doubt, say go for it, ultimately it is your choice.

As to suitable matches - they're unlimited!
