A further note to my earlier posting. Just back from Spain and France using up to date Garmin. Left the language setting as English - French I could possibly manage but rapid Spanish would probably be beyond me.
The pronunciation of town names is hilarious but could be annoying if you are relying on it. There seems to be a time slot of a fixed number of seconds for delivery such that e.g. ' main street' is easily undersood wheras ' Boulevard of Saint Bernadette ' gets compressed into the same time slot. The city of Angers is pronounced as it ' it angers me to hear all this' and Saumur as samer.
Moral, look at your intended route on a map and guess which towns may get a mention, then guess how it will sound.
