hi wayne i usually use liquid t-cut to remove streaks under the windows and round the vents

if you got tar on anywhere i use white spirit then t-cut

brings the paint up nice a smooth and if you got a glass front and back brings that up like new

I wouldn't recommend the repeated use of T Cut which is an abrasive product.

Any car or caravan shampoo will remove black streaks, if they are hard to shift use a small amount of shampoo neat on a cloth.

You are all wasting effort and money, I always use Mr Sheen spray polish on a cloth and in over forty years and fifteen vans never had a problem. J.Lo

Hi Wayne

i wash my van with automatic washing powder and fiarly hot water it removes all marks and you dont get froth everywhere. The main thing is to make sure you rinse it off well.

ProShine-Spray its amazing it will take a about 10minutes to do the whole van and it will bring it up like brand new this is top stuff and you won't be disappointed its worth every penny i use it all the time no water or washing down just spray on wipe in with a micro cloth and buff up with clean micro cloth and your caravan will cleam and the windows will be like brand new ., link below even if your caravan is old it will still give a shine if its a few years old it will bring back to like it was in the show room .

Silky for black streaks, lasts for ever, still on my second tub, normal car wash with wax for the rest.

I will give the Mr sheen a try we use it inside the van anyway.

It doesnt have to be Mr Sheen - any household furnature polish works wonders.

I give mine a wash with car shampoo & then any black marks that remain get a quick wipe with furnature polish & the jobs a good un.

That's very much in line with how I regard a lot of speciality caravan products. There is invariably an ordinary household product available at a fraction of the price.I think some owners have the attitude of 'nothing is too good for my caravan'and will happily pay through the nose.

Mr Sheen or equivalent works brilliantly. Best stuff I have ever used to remove black streaks.
