Right you Guys here we go .

Early on in the year we were away with our Compass Corona 524 only to find the Blow air didnt work, our mobile service bods found at the rear of the heater was a printed circuit board that had blown .

September we went away again and the same board had blown again .

My heating is now getting expensive I am almost frightened to use

the blown air incase it goes again .

Another new board has now been fitted also a new motor , if it goes again has anybody had this experience besides me ?

Please help.

Regards Stewart

Stewart, some more info would be helpful, such as how old is the van, and what heating system is in place.

I think you must be talking about a small pcb that fits on the Truma 'TEB2' fan housing and to which the control switch plugs into, it should have a little red rubber cover in one corner?

This pcb controls the fan speed and will be damaged by a worn or faulty fan motor, I suspect then in your case this is why the new one blew as well?

So now the motors also been replaced it's highly unlikely it will fail again.

I would say though, he was correct to try just replacing the pcb the first time, I've repaired many of these boards without replacing the motor and have not to date had one fail a second time!
