Bretagne and Pays de Loire

Hi, has anyone visited any of the Camping Cheque sites in these areas and have they any recommendations. We are middle aged but young at heart and like a pool. We shall be going at the end of May 2009

the castels group des ormes site in dol de bretagne is great for anyone who has no problems with kids around it is really clean friendly and lots of activities to do and a lovely little village called st leonards which is in walking distance from the back of the site is not too far away

Hi Valerie and Evans of Sprot

can you give me a bit more info about Kawan Village les Haliotis please? looks like a really nice site, we have a 15 year old girl to keep happy, so looking for a site with activities but not too noisy or busy.

I have posted a "First-time France" message but saw a previous post from you regarding this campsite so would like to find out more. cheers.

I think EvansofSprot is still away - or at least there haven't been any recent postings from him on any of his usual forums. There are some reviews here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=6610 - which all seem very positive.

thanks Val A. I'll keep a look out for his return. had a look at the reviews, they do indeed seem very positive! difficult to know what a campsite is really like but there is very little negative been posted.

Haliotis is a Camping Cheque site (see your other posting) - accepting them up to the 10th July - so you could possibly take advantage, even if you have to pay normal site tariff for the latter part of your holiday.
