I will certainly have a look at this. I have just come back from a few days at Brean Sands where we stayed at Channel View campsite. It was as near on the beach as you are going to get, and there was only 8 of us on a field so very spacious pitches. The views were fantastic, the warden helped us push the van into place so the lounge window was facing the sea. We had a view of a near empty beach out of our front window, a view of Brean Down out of our side window and a view of fields and countryside out of the other window. Brilliant. However the only down side was the 1st day was very windy and we got loads of sand blowing on to us, however this was a small price to pay for the views and the sea air.

I see that Wendy (Norfolk) is also a contributer so must check spelling or will get a smacked wrist.
