Thinking of taking the van to Britanny for a week in June. Any suggestions of a good site close (within an hour) of any of the ports and which port would anyone suggest?
 
If you are looking for a site near a port you are probably looking at St Malo area. Le Petit Bois there is easy to reach from the ferry and a good site to try. This is a good area to base your touring and saves towing any distance through France if this is a concern. There is a very large supermarket with cheap fuel very close as well.
 
Hi we are off to du Letty which is supposed to be nice and think its about 90 mins away from roscoff. Not to sure if anyone else has been here and any thoughts
 
WE did 5 separate parks in brittany last year , just turn up and pitch the municipals are the cheapest , nearly all the towns have one www.camping-municipal.org , other than that just keep driving until you see a camp site sign , all excellent
