BROADBAND TROUBLE

We are with eclipse and it has been down since mid morning.

BT is fine here in Berks.

Has been slow on and off for weeks but is fine in the past few days! But telecoms have been playing digging holes and connecting new stuff and overhead cables!
 
Were with virgin only problems this week. Guaranteed after six pm the connection would keep dropping seems ok now though. touch wood!!!

All Adsl access in your area is probably playing up. there is a link on the BT yahoo homepage for status info and an 0800 number to ring for updates.

One thing to remember when an ADSL link plays up is NOT to adjust your settings until you are sure it is a fault at your end. they must get loads of calls to help re-setup after people try to fix a problem that does not exist.

BTW, My ADSL is fine here. but earlier, I would not know as I had to visit the hospital for more boring x-rays
 
very very sore after yesterday.

Not getting more than 30 mins of sleep at a time the last week, this is starting to have an effect now. Getting very grumpy and quick tempered.

I can understand the grumpiness - and all I have is this damn cough that seems to come and go.

Got it for the third time since Christmas - Nothing worse than interrupted sleep Steve - It's a kind of torture.

If you can just think of the summer and sitting out in your Awning with a beer!
 
My boss has the wintery sniffles and snuffles and cough etc for weeks now, being a teacher with the little dears falling all arund with one bug or another doesn't help!

I have an old injury that keeps me awake at times, my wife tried Albas Oil decongestant on the pillow.

Not only did it help her but I find the strong aroma helps me go off to sleep. It's bl**dy wonderful stuff I sleep like a baby ;-)

know how you feel, not had much sleep, husband been on nights for a week and I can't sleep when he's not here - god knows what I will do when he gets deployed!!
