Broadlands

Hi Carol

Went to Broadlands in July after advice from Julian (volunteer warden) and loved it. Plenty to watch in Wroxham, brilliant fish and chips in Potter Higham and generally a lovely unspoilt County. Bikes can be hired just along the road, there is a pub (although husband said the beer was a bit expensive!). About five minutes walk from the site is a wooden shed selling lovely fresh fruit and veg. with a honesty box which was great.

Showers and toilets were a bit tired but apparently are being upgraded this winter. Hope this helps, but if you want to know anything else will try to help.

Chris

Broadlands is OK, but there's not much of a dog walk..if you have a dog that is!

Theres' lots of other nicer CC sites in Norfolk...try Incleboro Fields along the coast for example, or one of our favourites is The Covert at Swaffham. No amenities, but excellent.

Oh and by the way Potter Heigham is pronounced Ham to the true Norfolk speaking individual aka me!
