You mean there are people who do it different to that?

Alison, The best tip is to accept that there is nothing so queer as folk so ignore them if they are not your cup of tea. On sites you will see lots of people who are nice and a few who are not and many in between. There are nice children and not so nice, there are well controlled dogs and those that are not. There are people who want privacy and those who want to party and all the shades in between.

Accept that not all sites and their owners are what you might expect from the adverts. If something is really wrong then complain otherwise get on with it and don't go back.

We too have been to Bucklegrove. Great family run park with small bar/club, free small pool and a shop for essentials. Two fields, we used the further one from the clubhouse. Showers/toilets, very clean and tidy, site is well maintained and we really enjoyed it there and would return. Not far from Cheddar itself, we cycled there a couple of times. Also nearby is Wookey Hole and Wells, also Glastonbury. Nearest seaside is Weston Super Mare, although many better beaches nearby.
