Broken Shower Tray

Hi I have got a Swift Challenger 540 caravan

Unfortunately I have got a large crack in the shower tray - does anybody have any good tips or tricks for repairing this, or anybody capable of making a decent repair, I am based in Bury Lancashire

Thanks

change the shower tray!! it is the only cosmetic waterproof way. of doing it, if it is an old van and of little resale value you could effect a reasonable water tight patch using epoxy resin and perforated zinc, but to be frank it would look b----y awfull.

Agree with colin-yorkshire, there are many products on the market for doing this type of repair but imho it needs replacing, once repaired I would never trust the water tightness and this could give even bigger problems, are there any caravan breakers near you as opposed to purchasing a new one

When we had a problem with our shower the manufacturer sent a company www.plasticshowerspecialists.co.uk they did an excellent job,I think they are based in Hull and travel around the UK fixing shower problems, they 'harvest'' their enquiries into geographic areas and arrange to come to you to fix when they have several jobs in an area. They specialsie in touring and static caravans
