Northern Rock 4,000 staff are in line for 50 million in bonuses eight months after the ailing bank was hand 3 billion of taxpayers money.

Chief executive Gary Hofman 48, is likely to pocket 420,000 on top of his 700,000 wage, despite working for the bank for just one month?

One of the reasons the politicos never stopped the Banks was because they wanted, or were on the same Gravy Train. It's easy to jack your own money up when you can say, look at what the Bankers get we want some of that.
