Hi, I have just had my 200 Fleetwood Colchester 500eb written off as a rear panel cannot be gotten hold of since they went bust!.
The loss adjuster has made me a second off after i regected the first one. The second offer still isnt what I was hoping for, but they have refused to increase their offer any more. Some one has suggested that we accept the offer but say we want to retain the caravan to either hava ago at repairing myself, to to sell as salvage.
How do I go about this? and do you think the loss adjuster would agree to this? If not any Idea how much I should accept to include keeping the caravan? We have been offered £4400 and the cost of a new panel (last know list price) and labour is approx £3250.
Would appreciate any help with this.
Thanks
Alan
