Has anyone been to this site? Any comments please?

I have already booked it and paid a deposit so it's too late if it's duff.

Also, if you join the club, they said they take the extra non members fee off the booking. Do you get a monthly magazine if you are a member?

We were there for 2 nights at the beginning of April before travelling to Scotland fo 2 months (don't you just hate show-offs).

It's a new site for the C&CC. Set in drop-dead gorgeous scenery,it's well laid out,neat and tidy,lovely amenities,friendly staff and a really good dog walk.

No pub/eatery within easy walking distance but there are a couple of establishments a short drive away.

We'd go back happily anytime.

Yes, you get a monthly Magazine plus a yearly copy of "Your Place in the Country) which lists all Club sites and "Your Big Sites Book" which has Club Sites, CS's and Commercial sites also. Both books are excellent.

Can't help with the site though but Dave and Dee seem to have covered that.
 
Country Lass is right,plus you get a 'camping miles' card - collect the stamps at C&CC sites for a free night's camping.

Most of the sites we stayed on during our long tour of Scotland were C&CC.

Because we're both over 50, (just !) the age consession rate means we can enjoy top quality sites in popular locations at very reasonable prices.
