Hi everyone...

Was just wondering if there is a way to empty the flush tank on this toilet....? It seems there is a lot of debris in there from the past and bits and pieces are coming out when the toilet is flushed. Ive recently found out how to fill it but dont see any drain plug etc..anywhere...?

Was thinking of cleaning it out as were putting the caravan away for the winter(into storage) this week.

Cheers for any tips...

James

Having just "winterised" mine for the first time, I found a small plastic pipe in the compartment where the cassette sits. Pull that out of its little bracket, remove the plug from the end and any fluid I'd not managed to flush out came running out of that pipe. Its pretty small though - few mm diameter - so not sure it would be much use for getting rid of debris.

Swifts did retro fit conversion as well at a very reasonable price like its free this was offered because the original tube didnt drain all the fluid and gave freezing up problems .

The drain pipe is only short - so to save making a mess, first remove the toilet cassette and use a washing-up bowl to catch the outflow. Then replace the cassette and give the loo a short flush to drain out the pump. Having rinsed and emptied the cassette leave it in place but with the blade part open - all fresh and ready to be refilled on the next outing!

There is no drain tube on the C200, there is however a bung left hand side by the pipes, pull this bung out and stand back or you will get wet feet  as the flow ebs a jug can be used to catch the remainder or it will puddle in the cassette area.
