Just a quick question for all you techno geeks, what's the name of the cable to connect my JVC camcorder to my PC.

Im guessing it will be something like usb to...what ?

The cable you are looking for is a USB one end and what looks like a phone connector at the other end, look for a small sign on the recorder saying either usb or possibly a picture of a square???

Most likely USB , although it is possible it could be a mini USB, try running a google search for your cam corder model

Is it a digital camcorder? Then I would say it uses a Firewire cable, not USB. Otherwise known as a 1394 connection.

If it is a fire wire conection check that your PC has a port as not all PC's have firewire ports.
