Cadac Customer service

We often come on forums to have a moan, but not in this case.
I have a cadac that is very close to two years old, the griddle plate is looking a bit worst for wear and the other day i noticed that the carry bag had started to split where it is stiched to the zip.
well i droped an email to cadac customer services, telling them that the unit was two years old and therefore i believed it to be out of waranty and then explained about the two issues with the grill plate and tear. I asked it it would be possible to purchase these two items.
now bearing in mind that i did not send either photo proof or my reciept of purchase the reply i recieved was

Cadac units are guaranteed for two years, please reply with your address and a new carry bag and griddle plate will be sent to you free of charge...
Hows that for service. well done Cadac, pity more companies cannot compare

I agree - we have the Cadac Safari and hubby forgot to attach the hose correctly which subsiqently caused a flame (which was put out very quickly i hasten to add) and melted the front. We emailed Cadac to question if this part was available to purchase seperatelt and about a week later a new base arrived by courier FOC

When we had problems 2 years ago they more or less replaced the whole unit within three days!! Customer service wise they are up there with powrtouch
 
Thanks for this ... read it yesterday, emailed them to say that our Safari Chef bag was broken and they are sending me out a replacement free of charge. Superb Customer Services - very happy!

Very pleased as new bag arrived completely foc last Friday - postage alone was over a fiver!
