Cadac from caravan

Hi. My caravan has an outside gas point which we are going to use. I've purchased the connector to click in, but do I need a regulator in-between the caravan and the cadac, or is that built in to the van?

My external gas BBQ point uses gas that has passed through the regulator mounted on the bulkhead next to the cylinders. Can you see your gas cylinders and the regulator?

Ah. Yes, I now see a regulator in the gas locker.
So I presume as that's inline between the gas bottle and the outside gas point (albeit about 3 meters away), all will be well?

As you have found the routing of the gas pipe from the regulator to the gas point, you can now see you don't require an extra regulator

I have used a cadac from the external point for years with push connectors
I have 2 different lengths of pipe to suit where I position the cadac

Have you never used a gas BBQ from your caravans?
My friend gave me his old Cadac 2, told me it was beyond repair, I took it apart, tightened up the gas valve, and fitted a new Pieso ignitor, £6.98 eBay. I now have two cadacs, and 5 different cooking grills.
