Cadac have had a batch of griddle plates that have been coated in the incorrect grade of teflon !

So if your Cadac hotplate thingy is extremely hard to clean, almost impossible, email them and they will send out a replacement plate FOC

Can you confirm whether it is the reversible flat/ribbed grill or the BBQ grill that are at fault. Our reversible grill is fine but the BBQ grill(new style non-stick coated) everything sticks and it is hard to clean. Our Cadac was purchased 2 months ago.

The Teflon on mine is certainly comes off the griddle with ease. No need to rub with anything. It just flakes and washes off.

I rang cadac to enquire about this on Tuesday, I also informed them that the zip had gone on the carry bag. I emailed my details to them late on Tuesday afternoon. This morning (Friday)a new griddle and a replacement bag were delivered to my door before 9:00 am.

Super service with no problems - Well done Cadac!

Im abroad working just now so i sent an email describing my substandard griddle plate..

when i never heard back i sent another email,my wife says 2 griddle plates have now been delivered!

Can you describe the difference in appearance? We bought a Cadac earlier this summer, and while it's superb at cooking the ribbed plate is pretty tedious to clean. But we don't know whether it's supposed to be that bad!

Just received our new plate today too and another bag as zip went on it and it ripped have to say excellent customer service from cadac was delivered within two days.
