calling all colerado owners

Hi all,I have just purchased an "S" reg LWB 3.0 lt deisel landcruiser colerado and having just used it for the first time towing am a little disapointed. The power is fine ,stability excellent but the ride quality a bit choppy to say the least!Im only towing a bailey pagent with nose weight of about 80 kilo yet the rear axle seems so firmly sprung that the ride becomes harsh over anything but the smoothest of roads. Is this common to this car? can I improve it in any way?my previous car (maverick 2.7 LWB)offered a lovely ride when burdened with the van.Any suggestions greatfully recieved.....

Untill I retired in 2000 I worked for a Toyota dealer and recall that early Colerado's had modifications to rear suspention, bump stops or something, A dealer could put your VIN in his system and see if your vehicle had been modified
