camp sites on the Cote d'azur

Thinking of going south of france next summer looked at a couple of sites on net any one been to Les Lauriers Roses, Domaine du Colombier, Holiday Green and L'Etoile d'Argens all in the region of Frejus Any feed back would be appreciated

I have been to L'Etoile D'Argens four times, 3 times during the early 80's and returning again in 2003.

Fantastic site, excellent facilities that you would expect from a 4 star campsite. Excellent location and there is even a boat from the campsite to the beach

Can get very busy I have heard in the school holidays but we have only been during June or the first part of July

The website address is http://www.etoiledargens.com/indexuk.htm if you haven't found it

Not the cheapest campsite but none are with the quality of facilities in that part of France

Highly recommended

Cheers

Karen,

Been to L'Etoile d'argens 4 out of the last 5 years, as Richard says "fantastic site" Owners on site & English spoken, pitches can be on the small side though, but in a 2 berth it's never caused us a problem, fantastic wash rooms, cleaned properly every day! Great swimming pool complex on site.

Beaches within 2km, fantastic hypermarket within 5kms.

St Tropez 20, miles, Cannes 40 miles, plus loads to see & do in the area.

I'd thoroughly recommend this site, only going to the Vendee this year as wifes sister has bought a house in Charante.
