We are thinking of going to Camping Capalonga on Italy's northern coast for part of next summers holidays. Has anyone been to this site?. What is the access like as we have a large twin axle 'van. Are the roads in the site large enough and are the pitches large enough? Any other infomation would also be of help.
Happy travels
Many thanks BarryB

Hello Barry B,
We stayed on this site in Aug 2008 and we LOVED it, so much so, that we put off going onto Austria for a few more days so that we could have extra time there!
We have a large twin axle caravan ( no motor mover ), and we got it onto the pitch ok. If I am honest with you, it was a bit tight! The pitches are not very big, not very well defined, so as to say, but saying that, we stayed at another site in Italy and the pitches there were just the same.
The site itself, has everything on it that you would need. They ran a very good kids club ( for all the various ages ), our son loved the karate! The entertainment was excellent.
We had a pitch near to the beach, which was great, also, it was quite a bit away from all the entertainment/activities ( so quiet ). The beach is LOVELY and we never found it at all packed. Sea gorgeous!
The security guards made regular patrols and after 11pm. they would make sure that people were not being too loud, which I personally thought was good.
I would not hesitate in going back to this site and we will do so. I would recommend it.
If there is any other info that you need, please do not hesitate to ask us.
Best wishes,
Jonah.
