Camping in Spain next January

Can anyone suggest some good but cheap sites to stay on in warm Spain in January/February 2006. Looking to stay for 2 months.

There are absolutely no guarantees with the weather in Spain at that time of year. I had friends who were there in February this year and it was really cold and wet.

Don't be put off though, we were near Malaga the year before and it didn't rain once in six weeks. Our campsite closed so going Valencia way.

Check out the Camping Cheque website (campingcheque.co.uk - there may be a 'dot' between camping and cheque) - they have several sites in Southern Spain which are open all year round, and the special offers they give can bring the site fees down to around

Do take a few warm clothes. Earlier this year, the main autovia just outside Almeria came to a standstill with snow and ice - on St Valentines day and almost in sight of Africa. mojacar had snow several times in January and the oranges froze on the trees.

But it soon got better and we shall be there again early 2006 all being well.

I am going to la manga early jan for 3 Months.They tell me the pitches are a good size.Have water drains and internet to the pitches.may see you on there

Can vouch for good sized fully serviced pitches but cannot remember seeing internet connection set up on the pitch(es) unless they have been installed recently
