Am thinking of using this site fora couple of overnight stops en route to and from the south of France. It is featured in the CC Europe Guide. Has anyone used it and is it okay. Our last overnight site in the area south of Paris was being used by 'seasonal travellers' annd we did not feel inclined to leave the van and go out for a meal.

Cheers

Hi Clive. Have used it twice on the way back home from Spain. It is listed as a 4 star but it isn't that good. It is certainly fine for overnight stops. The woman who runs it is very friendly but doesn't speak much English. The toilet block is clean. Just down the hill, a 5 minute walk, is a lake with a sandy beach, used by every one for swimming etc. We have no problems with the site and will continue to use it both ways.

David,

thanks, it sounds fine for overnight stops which is all that we are looking for. Did you pre-book or just turn up. We travel down end August, and back in the last week of September.

Cheers
