Thanks Evans. Had looked at web page but wish they would show more pictures of the pitches. Obviously these web sites only show the good bits and when you get there they sometimes dont do what it says on the tin!Hope one of you lot out there have been and can let me know. Cheers!

Stayed there this summer very good site close to Biaritz and Bayonne. Site layout similar to Caravan Club style. Good pool and very clean. Reception closed between 12:30 & 15:30 so dont arrive at 13:00 like we did. Biaritz very busy hard to park the car but worth a visit.

Thanx Steve. Just wondered if if you drove through France or sailed to Spain.Ferry costs are obviously expensive but after using more fuel by road, and time to get there then one starts to cancel the other out a little. Wondered if you had similar thoughts and what you felt was more cost effective?

Hi just checking on michelin, it looks like it's about evens for the journey from Plymouth/Portsmouth/Dover to Biarritz

from Calais 644 miles tolls Euro 200 time 10 hours

from Roscoff 525 miles tolls Euro 146 time 8 1/2 hours

from Caen 485 miles tolls Euro 139 time 8 hours

I can't remember the time it took on the ferry Plymouth/Roscoff or the cost, it would be nice if someone could fill that bit in ??
