Camping tn the Massif Central

Does anyone have any experience of caravan sites in the Massif Central region in Central France (Mont Dore, Chalmazel, Le Lioran etc)?

Have you thought about further South in the Massif Central - stunning areas in the Cevennes, the Tarn Gorges, and even the Ardeche. Val de Cantobre at Nant, on the western edge of the Cevennes is superb, with big pitches, excellent facilities (all) and great owners who go out of their way to help you, Les Peupliers in the Tarn (just south of the gorge itself), with easy access to the Gorges de la Jonte is very 'french' with the most fantastic bread you'll ever eat. There are lots of lovely sites in the Ardeche, depending upon your preferences - from very small to very large (Ranc D'Avaine falls into the latter category, but in early season is lovely).
