We are intending to use Camping Tenda near Bad Feilnbach in Germany for one night this summer. I think there are special pitches where you do not have to uncouple the 'van. Does anyone know the site and has used it.? What are the roads to the site like, steep, narrow etc.? Is the restaurant good?

WE ACTUALLY USED THIS SITE TRAVELLING FROM NORTH GERMANY TO ITALY LAST YEAR. THE SITE IS SITUATED CLOSE TO THE MOTORWAY SO WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH NARROW ROADS. ONCE BOOKED ON IF YOU ARRIVE IN THE AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING THERE IS A STOPOVER AREA WITH HOOK UP AT THE BACK OF THE SITE. SPACE PERMITTING YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO UNCOUPLE THE VAN. IF YOU ARRIVE LATER IN THE EVENING THERE ARE LONG PARKING BAYS JUST INSIDE THE SITE ENTRANCE THAT PEOPLE WERE USING TO STOP IN, NOT SURE ABOUT HOOK UP THERE THOUGH.

WE THOUGHT THE SITE WAS FINE, THE FACILITIES WERE CLEAN AND THE STAFF HELPFUL.
