Campsites in Pau, Pyrenees

Can anybody suggest or recommend a site either in or as close as possible to Pau in the French Pyrenees.

The November edition of the Caravan Club Magazine has a feature on this area. They mention 3 sites, Base de Plein Air de Gelos; Camping Municipal Plaine des Sports et des Loisirs; and Camp Municipal Mosqueros.

Hi Litespeed,

I guess you are heading for le Tour in July 2008...me too. Have a look on the acsi website, there are loads of sites within a few miles of the Tourmalet and Hautacam so we can get a shot at at least 2 stages in he mountains....see you there.
