Cant't unlock hitchlock

Hi

I have this hitchlock and it's been great thusfar. Until yesterday. I put the key into the barrel lock and it just turned and turned and turned. WIthout unlocking the hitchlock.

I'm thinking that a squirt of WD-40 might be needed into the lock itself, or is this a more serious problem?

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what would you suggest?

Hi, I once had this problem, then realised that the part that "pushes in" wasn't in after all! you need to check this as the lock isn't in place. Yes, WD40 will always help anyway to keep all working . HTH.
