Back to Falmouth today and took the ferry across to St Mawes, pretty little place.
Added a few snaps.

Capn Chaos.
If you enjoy fine dining alfresco go to Hotel Tresanton a Polizzi place. Just up from the harbour in St Mawes and not overly expensive. Stunning views from your dining table. Did it four weeks ago.

Whilst on the subject of fine dining,. Rowe's Pasties are made in Falmouth some are delivered frozen to their shops, they are then baked on the said premises enabling connoisseurs of the finer tastes of life like myself to enjoy them at their peak condition 😄🥟

The Yorkshire Handmade Pie Company pies are frozen uncooked, so the customer has to cook them when required. Well worth 40 minutes of gas or electric.

Another grand day out today, topped off with a late trip back to the fabulous Perranporth beach so that Lily could stretch her legs…. Naturally I took a few more snaps.
This is a cracking beach!

Where do you post your photos please?
Hi,
I host them on Smug mug, and then put them in a gallery which I can make public if I choose, then I can share them on forums etc if I wish
…. I set up a gallery/album for the trip before we set off.
Here’s the link the this holidays photos so far:

The site wifi here is good enough for me to upload the photos each day to the gallery do I do that normally later in the day.

Thank you, and nice photos.

I remember when I got my first mobile…. It was a Nokia 3310 ( work phone)….
So excited when someone sent me a text message… it read “Happy Birthday Caroline”!
Turned out to be an Irish woman sending a message to her daughter whose number was one digit different to mine🤣🤣🤣
A, 3310, had mine for over 10 years, fantastic little phone, with the Snake game.

My first phone was an analogue phone that I used for business and no issue with getting a signal anywhere. We then changed to the digital phones and they had limited range and often did not work in rural areas and still don't some 30 years later!

My son and his partner bought new Nockias when they were reintroduced a few years back. They had much better battery life than their iPhones and were used specifically for holidays in obscure places.

Foul weather overnight and upto 3pm this afternoon was followed by glorious sunshine.
We took Lily to Perranporth beach this morning and then again about 5pm when it was blue skies.
More photos added and a few videos on the beach…. The one that lasts 32 seconds shows Lily running away from the incoming tide🤣🤣🤣.
Got back to find a german caravan (Fendt Bianco 495) set up on site. A bit different but I like it. ( see gallery for a few snaps).

Cheers
