Wrt the Ghost immobiliser I’ve been reading Lexus and Toyota forums and it seems some owners have had them removed as they interfered with some car systems, or were not responding consistently to the pseudo-pin inputs. Plus one owner suffered £3k damage when thieves accessed the canbus behind the headlights only to find then that Ghost did prevent start up. I guess it’s better than loosing the car altogether.

I rather like Buckmans South Africa approach. 😂
