I've just bought a cordless polishing mop from A***on for £49 .
Usually I go for something with a cord as they are far better but my caravan storage does not have any power outlets. Fingers crossed it does a good job with the SRP because my poor old RSI damaged shoulder can't physically cope with polishing anymore :(
That sounds like at a great price keep us updated how you get on 🙏

It was way better than I expected, I did my Santa Fe last night, jet wash, snow foam, jet wash, AutoBright Direct banana wash, jet wash, dry, Autoglym SRP applied with the new mop, buff, Autoglym Extra Gloss, buff, Owatrol Polytrol on the very dull plastic.
Car looks great.
The mop was brilliant, not too heavy to hold and slow speed is great as I was a bit nervous using it for the first time. Battery is still showing as full.
Not had time to visit the caravan and try it on that yet due to family events :(
Early days but happy with my purchase so far1000018134.jpg1000018133.jpg

I use Auto glym super resin polish and have used it for years and swear by it, but users should aware that it IS oh so very slightly abrasive but not really enough to matter

Go and buy some more wheel cleaner from Halfords and then they will look great .
I have recently bought the Autoglym Advanced wheel cleaner which is Ph neutral and changes colour when it’s working. Didn’t buy their spray, used one of my own. Did an excellent job.

I bought my car at about 10 months old. The wheels refused to come clean, so bad I made a claim under the warrentee.

Autoglym advanced was suggested. Fantastic stuff. Yes it stinks, but it reacts with the brake dust and turns cherry red.

Expencive, but it does last. The 2.5ltr is the cheapest way, but it needs a decent sprayer as it is thick stuff.

One of my son's mate that does vehicle finishing told him some new cars that are transported on rail networks suffer from the dust that comes from the rolling stock brakes, although the bodies are protected sometimes the car wheels are not, resulting in contamination,he applies a cleaner that changes colour when applied to ferric dust,,I assume from there they are cleaned and some form of protection is applied
