i recently lost my awning in stormy weather in north devon. put in a claim with the c.c (actually Devitts) and was only offered £400 for a 5 year old dorema calypso, tall annex and 2 inner tents. does this seem reasonable or am i expecting to much ??

Were you at Warcombe Farm on the end of May bank hols. We were and also came back from popping out to find our awning down. We have suffered damage to the van as well as the awning. We are insured with the CC and they need proof that the awning is damaged. I don't know why they don't contact the site they would confirm what happened. Anyhow did you have to send your awning to the CC to confirm the damage. We have just had the estimate back for the van and the damage is
