Caravan Club membership

Hi, I am new to caravanning and have a question to ask regarding the caravan club membership, I have recently joined but not used my membership yet, on arrival at a CC site, other than showing my membership card do I need any form of ID etc to prove who I am? Also when you make a booking with the CC do you get written confirmation of your booking or do you just turn up at the site on the date booked and pay? sorry if this sounds daft but i'm just trying to get my head round things. HI. I am new to caravanning myself and joined the caravan club first booking was over the phone to club itself.I now do all my booking on line via the club website very easy give all details as requested(you can also see if the site has vacancies) and in a short while you will recieve an e-mail to confirm just turn up on site and pay on the day.Tony

You get a written confirmation if you book via the caravan club website, but not over the phone. Only need your membership card on arrival (and cash/means to pay!).

Make sure you don't turn up too late or you may find yourself locked out at some sites (although many have a late arrivals area - to pitch for the night).

The wardens will advise on what to do next....
