Hi
I went away for the weekend in my caravan and we had a loss of lights
I have now got home and looked at the electrics
And it looks like the control panel fuse area has shorted
My caravan is not in existence any more I believe it's a Belgium make
Cristall nmoorea 530tf
I assume I will now need to replace the control panel but these appear to not be manufactured anymore
When I have googled the control panels I have seen appear to be a
Switched system that are in newer caravans
I assume my connections could also be a problem
I have added some pictures for any guidance

Thanks

I have looked all over eBay for a replacement transformer and all appear to be showing except mine all the ones on eBay appear to have the one fly lead from the transformer where mines has two
P0501-0266
Ps247
It's concerning as it sounds like I can't use the caravan unless a breakers may have this model
I wonder as the make Cristal moorea appears to be from Belgium thus is the issue

As I am new to caravaning technical area
Can I ask the following

A if the electrics exc low voltage ie lights cd player motor mover work off the 240 mains is it possible to remove the transformer and use a intelligent charger that I can plug in too keep the battery charged
This would mean if I cannot get my transformer I can still use all elec and lights in my caravan
I assume when mobile my car it would still be charging the battery
It's just a thought I had
Also when I bought this caravan it had an intelligent charger in it as previous post
One final thing on a transformer you have a 3 pin mains connection what is this used for the obvious answer I assume is to use the mains to charge

I am not entirely sure what bits you are trying to marry up, but if you are saying you have the one multi plug and the transformer has to separate cables why not use the two spare ways in the 8 way multi plug πŸ€”

Hi Martin prob me confusing the issue
The ones that are on eBay have one fly lead mine has two as per the photos you just don't see the.with 2 fly.leads to buy let alone trying to match up my model
That is why I was saying I appear to have have two options
One is we can't you our caravan

Or two if I can remove the the broken transformer
And just use 240 v for elecs excluding lights and just use an intelligent mains charger to charge the battery so I can than run the 13 v bits don't have enough knowledge to know if this is workable
