caravan cover

Having just purchased a cover for my caravan (Bailey Pageant Bordeaux) I found that the position of roof vents create a 'pond' in the centre of the roof. I have made a temporary remedy but would ask others if they have had any problems and how they got round it. Maypole have assured me that it is a known problem and that it will not harm anything or affect any warranty. Your comments please.

Why don't you simply place a plastic bowl beneath the cover where it pools? - you should be able to trim one to a minimum required height.

I have placed a old plastic sweet jar wrapped in sme of the excess material that came with the cover on the roof. This is doing the job at present but I was looking at other ways Your is one route I may look at as it would give a wider base and therefore be more stable.
Thanks for your interest.

How about a roll of bubble wrap, taped yp to stop it unrolling. You can make this to whater dimensions you need and it will not scratch the roof, even if it moves a bit with the wind.
