I am due to renew my caravan insurance soon and have been shopping around for quotes I am at present with the caravan club but this years premium seems a bit high even taking into account 4 years no claims discount! Has anyone used *&* linsurance for caravans this is the company coming out on top at the moment. My caravan is a 2007 single axle model and the cover I am looking at is the top of the range for this company. Any comments/suggestions gratefully received .

From what I can gather some while back a forum member submitted a post on this forum which may have ALLEGEDLY mentioned something that the company mentioned within your post ALLEGEDLY found fault with. I believe that the ALLEGED threat of litigation ALLEGEDLY caused major problems.

I was not involved with this forum at that time but I believe that the firm that you ask about are no longer allowed to be mentioned in any context whatsoever on this forum. Any posts that do appear in connection with this company on this forum will be immediately deleted without further discussion.

I sincerely apologise to you and our members for being so blunt about this but that's the way it is.

If anyone wonders about the appearance of ALLEGEDLY within the text of my post it's known as ass covering.

I have used that company for 2 years now to insure my new van and have had one claim, it was settled quickly and without any problem. Others may have different views but I can only go from my own experience.
