Caravan legs in storage

I go away every three weeks and when i am at home i just leave the legs up on the caravan - although my neighbour has said this is bad for the chassis and all four corner steadies have to be wound down no matter how long left standing....any advise appreciated.....BIG LAD.

Don't know about "bad for the chassis" - not sure why that should be.

However, I would always put the legs down in case there is a strong wind or storm. I dont think it is very stable just on two wheels and a jockey, and relying on the handbrake.

Absolute rubbish.

The chassis, main axle and wheels,as well as the jockey wheel ar more than adequate an specifically designed to take the weight of the van.

The steadies are to do just that, steady the van when in use.

Taking your neighbours argument to it ultimate, it would have to have the steadies down whilst towing!!! ,,,,,,,,,,I think not.
