I've noticed more and more people using these bright yellow levelling ramps with motorhomes revving up and more often than not taking a lot of attempts to get level.(or at least getting up the ramp(s).It must be very difficult to stop when you are level.
It seems to me these ramps should have a horizontal length for the wheel to land on rather than be held precareously held on a slope by the hand brake.
For me pieces of flat wood are infinitely easier and adjustable to give the correct height for level piching.

Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with the levelling ramps, I have used them for years. It's people's inability to control their vehicle by the correct use of throttle, clutch (if manual) and handbrake. Even using something like a Milenco Quattro which has small level sections you still have to drive up it carefully and not like a bull in a china shop. Also you should always place a wheel stop(s) to prevent the vehicle moving in the event that the parking brake loses grip.
